WHAT IS CLASS OF '09?
taken from wikipedia
Class of '09 is a visual novel video game series developed and primarily written by Max "SBN3" Field and published by Wrath Club for personal computers. Its marketted as an "anti-visual novel", a "rejection sim", and an "interactive sitcom."
The story follows self-proclaimed sociopath and nihilistic high school student Nicole (voiced by Elsie Lovelock) and her best friend Jecka (voiced by Kayli Mills) across a fictionalized version of Springfield, Virginia, and the broader Washington metropolitan area from the fall of 2007 to the spring of 2009.
WHAT IS THE CLASS OF '09 DIVERGENT BUILD PHENOMENON?
The Divergent Class of ’09 Copies phenomenon refers to reported inconsistent pirated builds of Class of ’09 circulating on torrenting sites, often under misleading titles such as a supposed Remaster or a bundle featuring the first 2 games labelled as The Double Up, with no two recovered copies confirmed to be identical. While many appear as simple repacks with minor issues like altered audio, pre-existing saves, or missing credits, more unstable versions reportedly include absent voice acting, route-specific crashes, missing endings, corrupted save data, and dialogue referencing events not present in retail builds. Across reports, Nicole is frequently described as behaving inconsistently, with static expressions, incorrect emotional responses, and apparent awareness of events outside normal narrative order. In severe cases, builds become increasingly unstable over time, eventually failing to launch or producing generic system errors, with attempts at analysis yielding inconsistent or unreadable data structures.

WHAT IS THIS SITE FOR?
This site exists to document known information about this digital oddity, including its reported variants, structural behavior, and any recovered archival material. Due to the unstable and often non-persistent nature of these builds, most instances cannot be reliably preserved, leaving recorded footage and secondary reports as the primary remaining sources of reference.
